अष्टौ ह वै पुत्रा अदितेः । यांस्त्वेतद्देवा आदित्या इत्याचक्षते सप्त हैव ते ऽविकृतं हाष्टमं जनयां चकार मार्ताण्डं संदेघो हैवास यावानेवोर्ध्वस्तावांस्तिर्यङ् पुरुषसम्मित इत्यु हैक आहुः
aṣṭau ha vai putrā aditeḥ | yāṃstvetaddevā ādityā ityācakṣate sapta haiva te 'vikṛtaṃ hāṣṭamaṃ janayāṃ cakāra mārtāṇḍaṃ saṃdegho haivāsa yāvānevordhvastāvāṃstiryaṅ puruṣasammita ityu haika āhuḥ
