द्वेधा तण्डुलान्कुर्वन्ति । स ये ऽणीयांसः परिभिन्नास्ते बार्हस्पत्या अथ ये स्थवीयांसो ऽपरिभिन्नास्ते मैत्रा न वै मित्रः कं चन हिनस्ति न मित्रं कश्चन हिनस्ति नैनं कुशो न कण्टको विभिनत्ति नास्य व्रणश्चनास्ति सर्वस्य ह्येव मित्रो मित्रम्
dvedhā taṇḍulānkurvanti | sa ye 'ṇīyāṃsaḥ paribhinnāste bārhaspatyā atha ye sthavīyāṃso 'paribhinnāste maitrā na vai mitraḥ kaṃ cana hinasti na mitraṃ kaścana hinasti nainaṃ kuśo na kaṇṭako vibhinatti nāsya vraṇaścanāsti sarvasya hyeva mitro mitram
