अथ यदास्य तारावर्षाणि चोल्काः पतन्ति निपतन्ति धूमायन्ति दिशो दह्यन्ति केतवश् चोत्तिष्ठन्ति गवां शृङ्गेषु धूमो जायते गवां स्तनेषु रुधिरं स्रवति अत्यर्थं हिमं निपतति इत्य् एवमादीनि तान्य् एतानि सर्वाणि सोमदेवत्यान्य् अद्भुतानि प्रायश्चित्तानि भवन्ति

atha yadāsya tārāvarṣāṇi colkāḥ patanti nipatanti dhūmāyanti diśo dahyanti ketavaś cottiṣṭhanti gavāṃ śṛṅgeṣu dhūmo jāyate gavāṃ staneṣu rudhiraṃ sravati atyarthaṃ himaṃ nipatati ity evamādīni tāny etāni sarvāṇi somadevatyāny adbhutāni prāyaścittāni bhavanti
