उपसंक्रम्य भगवतः पादौ शिरसा वन्दित्वा एकान्ते निषण्णः। एकान्तनिषण्णो ज्योतिष्को गृहपतिर्भगवन्तमिदमवोचत्--लभेयाहां भदन्त स्वाख्याते धर्मविनये प्रव्रज्यामुपसम्पदं भिक्षुभावम्।
upasaṃkramya bhagavataḥ pādau śirasā vanditvā ekānte niṣaṇṇaḥ/ ekāntaniṣaṇṇo jyotiṣko gṛhapatirbhagavantamidamavocat--labheyāhāṃ bhadanta svākhyāte dharmavinaye pravrajyāmupasampadaṃ bhikṣubhāvam/
