बुद्धो भगवान् राजगृहे विहरति वेणुवने कलन्दकनिवापे। आचरितमायुष्मतो महामौद्गल्यायनस्य कालेन कालं नरकचारिकां चरितुं तिर्यक्चारिकां चरितुं प्रेतचारिकां देवचारिकां मनुष्यचारिकां चरितुम्।
