अथैषां पारावतः प्रोवाच । सत्यं बलवत् क्षुद्दुःखम् । अपि तु ममाभिप्रायः श्रूयताम् । राग एव महद् दुःखम् इति मे निश्चिता मतिः । क्षुत् करिष्यति किं यस्माद् भस्मनापि निवार्यते
athaiṣāṃ pārāvataḥ provāca | satyaṃ balavat kṣudduḥkham | api tu mamābhiprāyaḥ śrūyatām | rāga eva mahad duḥkham iti me niścitā matiḥ | kṣut kariṣyati kiṃ yasmād bhasmanāpi nivāryate
