Devanagari rendered by HREEM from the edition's roman (IAST) text; the IAST is the edition's own.

He who perceives all beings as the Self for him how can there be delusion or grief, when he sees this oneness (everywhere)?

Translated by Swami Paramananda

When to a man who understands, the Self has become all things, what sorrow, what trouble can there be to him who once beheld that unity?

Translated by F. Max Müller
