गणयित्वा विस्तारम् बहुषु स्थानेषु तद्-युतिस् भाज्या। स्थानक-मित्या सम-मितिस् एवम् दैर्घ्यम् च वेधे च॥ क्षेत्र-फलम् वेध-गुणम् खाते घन-हस्त-संख्या स्यात्॥ [शर्म: घाते < खाते] उदाहरणम्।
