Manu 1.78
ज्योतिषश् च विकुर्वाणाद्) आपो रसगुणाः स्मृताः) । अद्भ्यो गन्धगुणा भूमिर् इत्य् एषा सृष्टिर् आदितः ॥
jyotiṣaś ca vikurvāṇād) āpo rasa.guṇāḥ smṛtāḥ) | adbhyo gandha.guṇā bhūmir ity eṣā sṛṣṭir āditaḥ ||
