Manu 2.4

अकामस्य क्रिया का चिद् दृश्यते न-इह कर्हि चित् । यद् यद्द् हि कुरुते किं चित् तत् तत् कामस्य चेष्टितम् ॥

a.kāmasya kriyā kā cid dṛśyate na-iha karhi cit | yad yadd hi kurute kiṃ cit tat tat kāmasya ceṣṭitam ||
