Manu 5.28

प्राणस्य-अन्नम् इदं सर्वं प्रजापतिर् अकल्पयत् । स्थावरं जङ्गमं च-एव सर्वं प्राणस्य भोजनम् ॥

prāṇasya-annam idaṃ sarvaṃ prajāpatir akalpayat | sthāvaraṃ jaṅgamaṃ ca-eva sarvaṃ prāṇasya bhojanam ||
