Manu 9.59
देवराद् वा सपिण्डाद् वा स्त्रिया सम्यक्-नियुक्तया । प्रजा-ईप्सिताअ-अधिगन्तव्या संतानस्य परिक्षये ॥
devarād vā sapiṇḍād vā striyā samyak-niyuktayā | prajā-īpsitāa-adhigantavyā saṃtānasya parikṣaye ||
