न ह तु वै पितरः प्रावृतं जानन्ति यज्ञायज्ञीयस्य वै स्तोत्रे पितरो यथायथं जिज्ञासन्त आकर्णाभ्यां प्रावृत्यं तद् एव प्रावृतं तद् अप्रावृतं जानन्ति पितरो न वैश्वानरो हिनस्ति
na ha tu vai pitaraḥ prāvṛtaṃ jānanti yajñāyajñīyasya vai stotre pitaro yathāyathaṃ jijñāsanta ākarṇābhyāṃ prāvṛtyaṃ tad eva prāvṛtaṃ tad aprāvṛtaṃ jānanti pitaro na vaiśvānaro hinasti
