RV 1.166.6

यूयं न उग्रा मरुतः सुचेतुनारिष्टग्रामाः सुमतिम् पिपर्तन । यत्रा वो दिद्युद् रदति क्रिविर्दती रिणाति पश्वः सुधितेव बर्हणा ॥

yūyaṃ na ugrā marutaḥ sucetunāriṣṭagrāmāḥ sumatim pipartana | yatrā vo didyud radati krivirdatī riṇāti paśvaḥ sudhiteva barhaṇā ||

Devanagari rendered by HREEM from the edition's roman (IAST) text; the IAST is the edition's own.

Terrible Maruts, ye with ne'er-diminished host, with great benevolence fulfil our heart's desire. Where'er your lightning bites armed with its gory teeth it crunches up the cattle like a well-aimed dart.

Translated by Ralph T. H. Griffith (1896)
