RV 10.149.1

savitā yantraiḥ pṛthivīm aramṇād askambhane savitā dyām adṛṃhat | aśvam ivādhukṣad dhunim antarikṣam atūrte baddhaṃ savitā samudram ||

Devanagari rendered by HREEM from the edition's roman (IAST) text; the IAST is the edition's own.

Savitar fixed the earth with bands to bind it, and made heaven steadfast where no prop supported. Savitar milked, as 'twere a restless courser, air, sea bound fast to what no foot had trodden.

Translated by Ralph T. H. Griffith (1896)
