अग्ने त्वं नो अन्तम उत त्राता शिवो भवा वरूथ्यः ॥

vasur agnir vasuśravā acchā nakṣi dyumattamaṃ rayiṃ dāḥ ||
Excellent Agni, come thou nigh to us, and give us wealth most splendidly renowned.

स नो बोधि श्रुधी हवम् उरुष्या णो अघायतः समस्मात् ॥
sa no bodhi śrudhī havam uruṣyā ṇo aghāyataḥ samasmāt ||
So hear us, listen to this call of ours, and keep us far from every sinful man.
