वयो न ये श्रेणीः पप्तुर् ओजसान्तान् दिवो बृहतः सानुनस् परि । अश्वास एषाम् उभये यथा विदुः प्र पर्वतस्य नभनूंर् अचुच्यवुः ॥

vayo na ye śreṇīḥ paptur ojasāntān divo bṛhataḥ sānunas pari | aśvāsa eṣām ubhaye yathā viduḥ pra parvatasya nabhanūṃr acucyavuḥ ||

Like birds of air they flew with might in lengthened lines from heaven's high ridges to the borders of the sky. The steeds who carry them, as Gods and mortals know, have caused the waters of the mountains to descend.
