अर्वाग् रथं विश्ववारं त उग्रेन्द्र युक्तासो हरयो वहन्तु । कीरिश् चिद् धि त्वा हवते स्वर्वान् ऋधीमहि सधमादस् ते अद्य ॥
arvāg rathaṃ viśvavāraṃ ta ugrendra yuktāso harayo vahantu | kīriś cid dhi tvā havate svarvān ṛdhīmahi sadhamādas te adya ||
Let thy Bay Horses, yoked, O mighty Indra, bring thy car hither fraught with every blessing. For thee, the Heavenly, e'en the poor invoketh: may we this day, thy feast-companions, prosper.

प्रो द्रोणे हरयः कर्माग्मन् पुनानास ऋज्यन्तो अभूवन् । इन्द्रो नो अस्य पूर्व्यः पपीयाद् द्युक्षो मदस्य सोम्यस्य राजा ॥
pro droṇe harayaḥ karmāgman punānāsa ṛjyanto abhūvan | indro no asya pūrvyaḥ papīyād dyukṣo madasya somyasya rājā ||
Forth to the vat the brown drops flow for service, and purified proceed directly forward. May Indra drink of this, our guest aforetime, Celestial King of the strong draught of Soma.

आसस्राणासः शवसानम् अच्छेन्द्रं सुचक्रे रथ्यासो अश्वाः । अभि श्रव ऋज्यन्तो वहेयुर् नू चिन् नु वायोर् अमृतं वि दस्येत् ॥
āsasrāṇāsaḥ śavasānam acchendraṃ sucakre rathyāso aśvāḥ | abhi śrava ṛjyanto vaheyur nū cin nu vāyor amṛtaṃ vi dasyet ||
Bringing us hitherward all-potent Indra on well-wheeled chariot, may the Steeds who bear him Convey him on the road direct to glory, and ne'er may Vayu's Amrta cease and fail him.

वरिष्ठो अस्य दक्षिणाम् इयर्तीन्द्रो मघोनां तुविकूर्मितमः । यया वज्रिवः परियास्य् अंहो मघा च धृष्णो दयसे वि सूरीन् ॥
variṣṭho asya dakṣiṇām iyartīndro maghonāṃ tuvikūrmitamaḥ | yayā vajrivaḥ pariyāsy aṃho maghā ca dhṛṣṇo dayase vi sūrīn ||
Supreme, he stirs this man to give the guerdon,-Indra, most efficacious of the princes,- Wherewith, O Thunderer, thou removest sorrow, and, Bold One! partest wealth among the nobles.

इन्द्रो वाजस्य स्थविरस्य दातेन्द्रो गीर्भिर् वर्धतां वृद्धमहाः । इन्द्रो वृत्रं हनिष्ठो अस्तु सत्वा ता सूरिः पृणति तूतुजानः ॥
indro vājasya sthavirasya dātendro gīrbhir vardhatāṃ vṛddhamahāḥ | indro vṛtraṃ haniṣṭho astu satvā tā sūriḥ pṛṇati tūtujānaḥ ||
Indra is hewho gives enduring vigour: may our songs magnify the God Most Mighty. Best Vrtra-slayer be the Hero Indra these things he gives as Prince, with strong endeavour.
