स तु सगरतनयखातमार्गेण कपिलम् उपगम्य भक्तिनम्रस् तथा तुष्टाव यथैनं भगवान् आह गच्छैनं पितामहायाश्वं प्रापय वरं वृणीष्व च पुत्रपौत्रश् च ते स्वर्गाद् गङ्गां आनयिष्यतीति

sa tu sagaratanayakhātamārgeṇa kapilam upagamya bhaktinamras tathā tuṣṭāva yathainaṃ bhagavān āha gacchainaṃ pitāmahāyāśvaṃ prāpaya varaṃ vṛṇīṣva ca putrapautraś ca te svargād gaṅgāṃ ānayiṣyatīti
