On the fifth of these nectars the Sâdhyas live, with Brahman at their head. True, the Devas do not eat or drink, but they enjoy by seeing the nectar.

• अथ यत् पञ्चमम् अमृतं तत् साध्या उपजीवन्ति ब्रह्मणा मुखेन । न वै देवा अश्नन्ति न पिबन्ति । एतद् एवामृतं दृष्ट्वा तृप्यन्ति
• स यावद् आदित्य उत्तरत उदेता दक्षिणतो ऽस्तम् एता द्विस् तावद् ऊर्ध्वम् उदेतार्वाग् अस्तम् एता साध्यानाम् एव तावद् आधिपत्यं स्वाराज्यं पर्येता
