सिंहो वय इति । सिंहं वयसाप्नोच्चदिश्चन्द इत्यतिचन्दा वै चदिश्चन्दः सा हि सर्वाणि चन्दांसि चादयत्यतिचन्दा ह भूत्वा सिंहा उच्चक्रमुरथातो निरुक्तानेव पशून्निरुक्तानि चन्दांस्युपदधाति

siṃho vaya iti | siṃhaṃ vayasāpnoccadiścanda ityaticandā vai cadiścandaḥ sā hi sarvāṇi candāṃsi cādayatyaticandā ha bhūtvā siṃhā uccakramurathāto niruktāneva paśūnniruktāni candāṃsyupadadhāti
