यथा यशश् चन्द्रमस्य् आदित्ये च नृचक्षसि । एवा मे वरणो मणिः कीर्तिं भूतिं नि यछतु । तेजसा मा सम् उक्षतु यशसा सम् अनक्तु मा ॥१८॥

yathā yaśaś candramasy āditye ca nṛcakṣasi | evā me varaṇo maṇiḥ kīrtiṃ bhūtiṃ ni yachatu | tejasā mā sam ukṣatu yaśasā sam anaktu mā ||18||
