सहस्राक्षौ वृत्रहना हुवेहं दूरेगव्यूती स्तुवन्न् एम्य् उग्रौ । याव् अस्येशथे द्विपदो यौ चतुष्पदस् तौ नो मुञ्चतम् अंहसः ॥३॥

sahasrākṣau vṛtrahanā huvehaṃ dūregavyūtī stuvann emy ugrau | yāv asyeśathe dvipado yau catuṣpadas tau no muñcatam aṃhasaḥ ||3||
