आहुत्यां तु गृहीतायां हुतोच्छिष्टं प्रमादतः । तम् आहुतिं प्रतिष्ठाप्य शं नो देवीर् इत्य् आचम्य ब्रह्मापरम् इत्य् अर्धर्चेनेमां हुत्वा ब्रह्मज्येष्ठेति हुत्वा सा तत्र प्रायश्चित्तिः ॥
āhutyāṃ tu gṛhītāyāṃ hutocchiṣṭaṃ pramādataḥ | tam āhutiṃ pratiṣṭhāpya śaṃ no devīr ity ācamya brahmāparam ity ardharcenemāṃ hutvā brahmajyeṣṭheti hutvā sā tatra prāyaścittiḥ ||
