अकीर्तिं चापि युद्धा भूतानि कथयिष्यन्ति ते तव अव्ययां दीर्घ-कालाम् । धर्मात्मा शूर इत्य् एवम् आदिभिः गुणैः संभावितस्य च अकीर्तिः मरणात् अतिरिच्यते, संभावितस्य च अकीर्तेः वरं मरणम् इत्य् अर्थः
akīrtiṃ cāpi yuddhā bhūtāni kathayiṣyanti te tava avyayāṃ dīrgha-kālām | dharmātmā śūra ity evam ādibhiḥ guṇaiḥ saṃbhāvitasya ca akīrtiḥ maraṇāt atiricyate, saṃbhāvitasya ca akīrteḥ varaṃ maraṇam ity arthaḥ
