ते ब्राह्मणाः सहस्रयोधिनः पुरुषस्यैवं श्रुत्वा भीताः। यतस्तेन महाश्रेष्ठिना संचिन्त्य यथैतत् सुवर्णं तत्रैव गर्भसंस्थं स्यात् तथा कर्तव्यमिति तस्य स्तूपस्य सर्वैरेव चतुर्भिः पार्श्वैः प्रतिकण्ठुकया चत्वारि सोपानानि आरब्धानि कारयितुम्।
te brāhmaṇāḥ sahasrayodhinaḥ puruṣasyaivaṃ śrutvā bhītāḥ/ yatastena mahāśreṣṭhinā saṃcintya yathaitat suvarṇaṃ tatraiva garbhasaṃsthaṃ syāt tathā kartavyamiti tasya stūpasya sarvaireva caturbhiḥ pārśvaiḥ pratikaṇṭhukayā catvāri sopānāni ārabdhāni kārayitum/
