तस्माच्च जलाभिषेकेण प्रत्यागतप्राणो जीवित उत्थाय भूयः पृच्छति--किं भवन्तो जानीध्वं श्रावका अपि तावत्तस्य भगवतस्तिष्ठन्ति? तैरुक्तह्--ते ऽपि वशिनो भिक्षवः परिनिर्वृताः।
tasmācca jalābhiṣekeṇa pratyāgataprāṇo jīvita utthāya bhūyaḥ pṛcchati--kiṃ bhavanto jānīdhvaṃ śrāvakā api tāvattasya bhagavatastiṣṭhanti? tairuktah--te 'pi vaśino bhikṣavaḥ parinirvṛtāḥ/
