स च कष्टतपः सारसंज्ञी। तेनाभिगम्य पादाभिवन्दनं कृत्वा स ऋषिः पृष्टह्--भगवन्, कियच्चित्रं ते इहारण्ये प्रतिवसतह्? स उवाच--द्वादश वर्षाणीति।
