अथायुष्मान् महाकात्यायनो मध्यदेशमागन्तुकामः सिन्धुमनुप्राप्तः। अथ या उत्तरापथनिवासिनी देवता, सा आयुष्मन्तं महाकात्यायनमिदमवोचत्--आर्य, ममापि किंचिच्चिह्नमनुप्रयच्छ, यत्राहं पूजां कृत्वा तिष्ठामीति।
athāyuṣmān mahākātyāyano madhyadeśamāgantukāmaḥ sindhumanuprāptaḥ/ atha yā uttarāpathanivāsinī devatā, sā āyuṣmantaṃ mahākātyāyanamidamavocat--ārya, mamāpi kiṃciccihnamanuprayaccha, yatrāhaṃ pūjāṃ kṛtvā tiṣṭhāmīti/
