श्रावस्त्यां निदानम्। तेन खलु समयेन भद्रंकरे नगरे षड् जना महापुण्याः प्रतिवसन्ति--मेण्ढको गृहपतिर् मेण्ढकपत्नी मेण्ढकपुत्रो मेण्ढकस्नुषा मेण्ढकदासो मेण्ढकदासी।
