रक्तं लोहितं नागसमं सीसकतुल्यं मृदु कोमलं एवंविधं सत्वं यस्माद्धेतोर् माक्षिकात् पतति ताप्यात् निर्गच्छति तद्वत्तस्माद्धेतोर् वा तस्माद्विधानतः गन्धाश्मनो गन्धकस्य यत्नेन मृदुभावं कार्यं यथा गन्धकोऽपि मृदुर्भवतीत्यर्थः
raktaṃ lohitaṃ nāgasamaṃ sīsakatulyaṃ mṛdu komalaṃ evaṃvidhaṃ satvaṃ yasmāddhetor mākṣikāt patati tāpyāt nirgacchati tadvattasmāddhetor vā tasmādvidhānataḥ gandhāśmano gandhakasya yatnena mṛdubhāvaṃ kāryaṃ yathā gandhako'pi mṛdurbhavatītyarthaḥ
