अथ तथागतस् तम् शिखिनं ब्राह्मणं तूष्णीभावेनाधिवासयति स्म । तस्मिन्न् एव समये मागधानां पापाचारत्वान् महोत्पातम् उदपादि । पुनर् अपि शिखी ब्राह्मणस् तथागतम् एतद् अवोचत् । भगवन् मगधे देशे महोत्पातसमाकुलाः । भवन्ति विकला लोका भूतयक्षैर् उपद्रुताः
atha tathāgatas tam śikhinaṃ brāhmaṇaṃ tūṣṇībhāvenādhivāsayati sma | tasminn eva samaye māgadhānāṃ pāpācāratvān mahotpātam udapādi | punar api śikhī brāhmaṇas tathāgatam etad avocat | bhagavan magadhe deśe mahotpātasamākulāḥ / bhavanti vikalā lokā bhūtayakṣair upadrutāḥ
