ओम् इति होवाच ब्राह्मणो वै मे साम विद्वान् साम्नोदगायत् स मे ऽशरीरेण साम्ना शरीराण्य् अधूनोत् तद् यस्य वै किल साम विद्वान् साम्नोद्गायति देवतानाम् एव सलोकतां गमयतीति

om iti hovāca brāhmaṇo vai me sāma vidvān sāmnodagāyat sa me 'śarīreṇa sāmnā śarīrāṇy adhūnot tad yasya vai kila sāma vidvān sāmnodgāyati devatānām eva salokatāṃ gamayatīti
