तिरस् इत्य् एतस्य तिरि इत्य् अयम् आदेशो भवति अञ्चाउ वप्रत्ययान्ते उत्तरपदे ऽलोपे, यदा अस्य लोपो न भवति । तिर्यक्, तिर्यञ्चौ, तिर्यञ्चः । अलोपे इति किम् ? तिरश्चा । तिरश्चे । अचः इत्य् अकारलोपः ॥ सहस्य सध्रिः
