तमसो लक्षणं कामो रजसस् त्व् अर्थ उच्यते । सत्त्वस्य लक्षणं धर्मः श्रैष्ठ्यम् एषां यथाउत्तरम् ॥

tamaso lakṣaṇaṃ kāmo rajasas tv artha ucyate | sattvasya lakṣaṇaṃ dharmaḥ śraiṣṭhyam eṣāṃ yathā.uttaram ||
