Manu 5.94

राज्ञो महात्मिके स्थाने सद्यःशौचं विधीयते । प्रजानां परिरक्षार्थम् आसनं च-अत्र कारणम् ॥

rājño mahātmike sthāne sadyaḥśaucaṃ vidhīyate | prajānāṃ parirakṣārtham āsanaṃ ca-atra kāraṇam ||
