१,१७८ यतश् चायं सूत्रभाष्यानुगतः सिद्धान्तः यत् फलं न विधीयत इति, तेन कारणेन न हिंस्याद् इति प्रतिषेधः श्येनफलोपनिपातिन्यां हिंसायां सामान्यतो ऽवतरन् विधिना न निवारित इति तस्यानर्थताम् आपादयतीत्यभिप्रायेणाह -- तेनेति
