किम् इति न युज्येत, अत आह -- न दृष्टेति। नात्यन्तम् असतः साधनत्वं दृष्टं शशविषाणवद् इत्य् अनुमानम् अन्तर्णीतं, क्वचिद् दृष्टस्यापि रूपस्यान्यत्रोपचरितस्य परमार्थोपायता नास्ति। किम् उतात्यन्तासतो हेत्वादेर् इत्य् आह -- बाष्पादिनेति
kim iti na yujyeta, ata āha -- na dṛṣṭeti. nātyantam asataḥ sādhanatvaṃ dṛṣṭaṃ śaśaviṣāṇavad ity anumānam antarṇītaṃ, kvacid dṛṣṭasyāpi rūpasyānyatropacaritasya paramārthopāyatā nāsti. kim utātyantāsato hetvāder ity āha -- bāṣpādineti
