अश्विन्येव यदा युक्तः शशिने भास्करमण्डलौ । उभौ तौ युग्मतः ग्रासं दिवा रात्रौ च कथ्यते । अश्विन्यागमनं नित्यं दुर्भिक्षं तं विदुर्बुधाः
