वात आ वातु भेषजं शम्भु मयोभु नो हृदे । प्र ण आयूंषि तारिषत् ॥
vāta ā vātu bheṣajaṃ śambhu mayobhu no hṛde | pra ṇa āyūṃṣi tāriṣat ||
Filling our hearts with health and joy, may Vata breathe his balm on us May he prolong our days of life.

उत वात पितासि न उत भ्रातोत नः सखा । स नो जीवातवे कृधि ॥
uta vāta pitāsi na uta bhrātota naḥ sakhā | sa no jīvātave kṛdhi ||
Thou art our Father, Vata, yea, thou art a Brother and a friend, So give us strength that we may live.

यद् अदो वात ते गृहे ऽमृतस्य निधिर् हितः । ततो नो देहि जीवसे ॥
yad ado vāta te gṛhe 'mṛtasya nidhir hitaḥ | tato no dehi jīvase ||
The store of Amrta laid away yonder, O Vata, in thine home,- Give us thereof that we may live.
