RV 3.55.8

śūrasyeva yudhyato antamasya pratīcīnaṃ dadṛśe viśvam āyat | antar matiś carati niṣṣidhaṃ gor mahad devānām asuratvam ekam ||

Devanagari rendered by HREEM from the edition's roman (IAST) text; the IAST is the edition's own.

As to a friendly warrior when he battles, each thing that comes anear is seen to meet him. The hymn commingles with the cow's oblation. Great is the Gods' supreme and sole dominion.

Translated by Ralph T. H. Griffith (1896)
