अश्वो नो क्रदो वृषभिर् युजानः सिंहो न भीमो मनसो जवीयान् । अर्वाचीनैः पथिभिर् ये रजिष्ठा आ पवस्व सौमनसं न इन्दो ॥

aśvo no krado vṛṣabhir yujānaḥ siṃho na bhīmo manaso javīyān | arvācīnaiḥ pathibhir ye rajiṣṭhā ā pavasva saumanasaṃ na indo ||

Devanagari rendered by HREEM from the edition's roman (IAST) text; the IAST is the edition's own.

Thou, yoked by strong men, neighest like a courser, swifter than thought is, like an awful lion. By paths directed hitherward, the straightest, send thou us happiness, Indu, while they cleanse thee.

Translated by Ralph T. H. Griffith (1896)
