उपयामगृहीतो ऽसि प्रजापतये त्वा जुष्टं गृह्णामि । एष ते योनिः सूर्यस् ते महिमा । यस् ते ऽहन्त् संवत्सरे महिमा संबभूव यस् ते वायाव् अन्तरिक्षे महिमा संबभूव यस् ते दिवि सूर्ये महिमा संबभूव तस्मै ते महिम्ने प्रजापतये स्वाहा देवेभ्यः ॥
upayāmagṛhīto 'si prajāpataye tvā juṣṭaṃ gṛhṇāmi | eṣa te yoniḥ sūryas te mahimā | yas te 'hant saṃvatsare mahimā saṃbabhūva yas te vāyāv antarikṣe mahimā saṃbabhūva yas te divi sūrye mahimā saṃbabhūva tasmai te mahimne prajāpataye svāhā devebhyaḥ ||
