होता यक्षद् ईडेन्यम् ईडितं वृत्रहन्तमम् इडाभिर् ईड्यꣳ सहः सोमम् इन्द्रꣳ वयोधसम् । अनुष्टुभं छन्द ऽ इन्द्रियं पञ्चाविं गां वयो दधद् वेत्व् आज्यस्य होतर् यज ॥

hotā yakṣad īḍenyam īḍitaṃ vṛtrahantamam iḍābhir īḍyam̐ sahaḥ somam indram̐ vayodhasam | anuṣṭubhaṃ chanda ' indriyaṃ pañcāviṃ gāṃ vayo dadhad vetv ājyasya hotar yaja ||
