शुक्रं त्वा शुक्रेण क्रीणामि चन्द्रं चन्द्रेणामृतम् अमृतेन । सग्मे ते गोः । अस्मे ते चन्द्राणि । तपसस् तनूर् असि प्रजापतेर् वर्णः परमेण पशुना क्रीयसे सहस्रपोषं पुषेयम् ॥
