कस्यचित् -- मा रोदीः जर-पल्लव-प्रणयिनीं कृत्वा कपोल-स्थलीं मा भङ्गीः परिखेद-साक्षिभिर् इव श्वासैर् मुखेन्दोः श्रियम् । मुग्धे दग्ध-गिरः स्खलन्ति शतशः किम् कुप्यसि प्रेयसि प्राणास् तन्वि ममासि नोचितम् इदं तद् व्यर्थम् उत्ताम्यसि
kasyacit -- mā rodīḥ jara-pallava-praṇayinīṃ kṛtvā kapola-sthalīṃ mā bhaṅgīḥ parikheda-sākṣibhir iva śvāsair mukhendoḥ śriyam / mugdhe dagdha-giraḥ skhalanti śataśaḥ kiM kupyasi preyasi prāṇās tanvi mamāsi nocitam idaṃ tad vyartham uttāmyasi
