कुशलाचरितेनैषाम् इह स्वार्थो न विद्यते । विपर्ययेण वानर्थो निरहङ्कारिणां प्रभो ॥ ननु तर्हि ते ऽपि किम् एवं साहसम् आचरन्ति तत्राह-कुशलेति । प्रारब्धकर्मक्षपणमात्रम् एव तेषां कृत्यं नान्यद् इत्य् अर्थः

kuśalācaritenaiṣām iha svārtho na vidyate / viparyayeṇa vānartho nirahaṅkāriṇāṃ prabho // nanu tarhi te 'pi kim evaṃ sāhasam ācaranti tatrāha-kuśaleti | prārabdhakarmakṣapaṇamātram eva teṣāṃ kṛtyaṃ nānyad ity arthaḥ
