ऽये अग्नयःऽ इति दशर्चेन सूक्तेन पालाश्या दर्व्या मन्थं सक्तुमन्थमुपमथ्य काम्पीलीभ्यामुपमन्थनीभ्यां प्रत्यृचम् अस्थीन्युपरि होमं कुर्यात् ॥ [उप द्याम् (१८।३।५-६) शं ते नीहारः (१८।३।६०) इति मन्त्रोक्तान्यवदाय
'ye agnayaḥ' iti daśarcena sūktena pālāśyā darvyā manthaṃ saktumanthamupamathya kāmpīlībhyāmupamanthanībhyāṃ pratyṛcam asthīnyupari homaṃ kuryāt || [upa dyām (18.3.5-6) śaṃ te nīhāraḥ (18.3.60) iti mantroktānyavadāya
