इति चेद् दृश्यते, जौहवम् अनुयाजेभ्यः प्रतिषिध्यते, औपभृतम् उभयार्थम् इति, भवतु जौहवं प्रयाजार्थम्, न त्व् औपभृतम् उभयार्थम्। तद् अपि तथा स्यात्, यथा जौहवम्। कथम्? एतद् अप्य् अनुयाजार्थम् एव श्रूयते, यद् उपभृति गृह्णात्य् अनुयाजेभ्यस् तद् गृह्णाति छन्दांसि ह्य् अनुयाजा इति। अनुयाजार्थतास्येति। स्याज् जुहूप्रतिषेधान् नित्यानुवादः
